The Role
The Restaurant Manager is the conductor of the dining experience and the strategic leader of the front-of-house team. You are responsible for the seamless integration of culinary excellence and elite service. We are seeking a high-performance leader who balances sharp business acumen with a sophisticated "host" mentality, someone who can drive revenue and manage complex logistics while personally engaging with VVIP guests.
Core Responsibilities
Operational Command:
Direct the daily operations of the outlet, ensuring every service shift is executed with 5-star precision, from "mis-en-place" to the final guest departure.
P&L & Financial Stewardship:
Take full ownership of the restaurant’s financial performance, including labor cost management, beverage margins, and strategic upselling initiatives.
The Art of Diplomacy:
Act as the primary ambassador for the venue, managing high-profile guest relations, seating hierarchies, and the delicate resolution of any service challenges.
Team Talent Development:
Recruit, mentor, and elevate a multi-national service brigade, fostering a culture of "anticipatory service" and continuous professional growth.
Brand & Quality Control:
Ensure strict adherence to brand aesthetics, hygiene (HACCP) standards, and service protocols, maintaining the venue’s reputation as a premier destination.
Professional Profile
Experience:
5+ years in F&B management, with at least 2–3 years as a Restaurant Manager in a 5-star hotel or world-class independent luxury venue.
Leadership Prowess:
Proven ability to lead diverse teams under high-pressure, high-volume conditions with a calm and decisive presence.
Business Intelligence:
Strong proficiency in P&L management, inventory systems, and digital reservation platforms (e.g., SevenRooms, OpenTable).
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written English; the ability to engage in sophisticated conversation with a global, high-net-worth clientele.
Cultural Savvy:
A deep understanding of international dining etiquette and a high degree of cultural sensitivity, particularly for the Middle Eastern luxury market.
